As we told you earlier that Apple had announced new high-end 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar computers, which is great if you want a super fast Mac notebook and don't mind that somewhat flaky keyboard. It upgraded its 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro notebooks. You can configure it with up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM and with up to 4TB of SSD storage.
The updated 2018 MacBook Pros have the exact same dimensions as the previous models - just the internals have changed a bit. The base frequency of these processors is about 2.9GHz, which can shoot up to 4.8 GHz under Turbo Boost mode. 256GB is now the minimum storage capacity for the new MacBook Pro.
Unfortunately, while the new 2018 MacBook Pro does have an updated third-generation keyboard, Apple has confirmed it did not fix the sticky key issue.
Fully loaded with new, eighth-generation Intel 6-core and quad-core processors, up to 32GB of memory for running multiple pro apps, stunning Retina display with True Tone technology, and a Touch Bar for working more productively - the new MackBook Pros really are built for professionals. It's apparently the first eGPU to support Thunderbolt 3 displays like LG's Apple-approved 5K Monitor. Originally featured on the iPad Pro, True Tone provides a more natural viewing experience as it adjusts the screen's white balance according to your ambient lighting.
The laptops will also have a new "Hey Siri" capability that allows people to trigger Apple's voice assistant without having to hit a combination of keys beforehand.
Back to School with MacBook Pro The new MacBook Pro is also part of Apple's Back to School promotion starting today and available to college students, their parents, faculty and staff through the Apple Education Store. "The MacBook Pro 13 pushes a resolution of 2560×1600 while the 15" version does 2880×1800.
