Another Body Found in Tampa Neighborhood Where 3 Were Killed

Shooting victim Ronald Felton, 60.

Officials said officers were patrolling the neighborhood when a 911 call came in of shots fired around 4:51 a.m. He was armed with a large black pistol and was last seen wearing all black clothing.

He has not been arrested.

"We are treating it as although it is related until we rule otherwise".

Law enforcement agents investigate a fatal shooting in the Seminole Heights neighborhood in Tampa, Fla., Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017.

"I've lived in this neighbourhood for 25 years, and we've never had anything like this".

The first responding sergeant got to the scene in "about a minute", Tampa police spokesman Steve Hegarty said.

He was walking home when he was killed, police said.

"It's very unfortunate here that we've had another one", Police Chief Brian Dugan said. Seven other schools were under a "lock-in" but since have resumed normal operations. They are asking residents to examine video from any security cameras they have.

"That scumbag who did that, we're coming for you". Drivers are asked to find another route. He said he went outside and saw Felton's body. "I can tell you, it's personal". He was killed at a bus stop along N. 15th Street and East Frierson Avenue.

Four days later, officers discovered the body of 32-year-old waitress Monica Hoffa in a vacant lot about 10 blocks from where Mitchell was found.

A third victim, 20-year-old Anthony Naiboa, was killed on October 19.

Benjamin Mitchell, an aspiring musician and community college student, was shot while standing alone at a bus stop, police said. Later, they're seen running.

"I'm mad because those three families had a huge hole ripped in their hearts", Mayor Buckhorn told CNN last month, before a fourth person was killed. "One, they may be late for dinner".

Rivera has changed the routine of his two children, ages 9 and 11, and no longer lets them play outside.

"The people he works with were already there and they heard four shots".

The footage, which was taken on the night of Mitchell's murder, shows a subject running down the street in the area and around the time of the slaying.

Dugan earlier said he hoped the video's release could lead to new tips.

Tampa police have a massive presence in Seminole Heights following the most recent murder.

Unlike in the three earlier killings, this time, police had a description of the suspect: a black male with a light complexion, about 183cm tall, with a thin build.
