Amazon Fireplace TV lastly will get Apple Music streaming

You can access it on the Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple CarPlay, Apple HomePod, as well as Android devices, Amazon Echo devices, Sonos speakers, and now, Amazon Fire TV devices.

In what would have been radical change a few years ago, your Amazon Fire TV can now stream songs from the Apple Music service. "Simply enable the Apple Music skill in the Alexa app and link your account to start listening".

The set-up process is very similar to how you set up Apple Music on Echo devices. Apple Music can also run through multi-room music setups for owners of the Amazon Fire TV Cube to enjoy the music and video streaming service. The company has long made its services available only on its own devices, and now that is business focus has shifted towards services-based revenue, the company is aggressively pushing its services and bringing them to more and more devices. If you've already done this for an Echo, you won't need to do it again for the Fire TV, it'll just be there. You'll also be able to get your hands on the device the next day, with Amazon Prime one-day delivery.

Apple's on the offensive with services right now. This new approach became evident at CES 2019 where Apple announced it would soon begin streaming iTunes to Samsung smart TVs. New Apple Music subscribers can get a 3-Month Free Trial to access 50 million songs from all major record labels. There have been signs that this streaming service is coming to Google Home smartspeakers too.

Optional: You can choose Apple Music as the default music provider for Alexa, if you want.
