Interestingly, to take on it's rival, RJio has now introduced two more plan of Rs 509 and Rs 799.

Both the plan of Vodafone also provide a customer also gets 100 SMS per day and unlimited local and STD calls to any number even while roaming within India (up to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week). It's worth mentioning that the revised benefits may not be available to all Airtel prepaid users, and these plans may continue to deliver earlier benefits.
Now there are floods of offers for prepaid customers, as telcos like Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone India has launched a list of data recharge plan at cheapest rate. Customers opting for this plan also receive 100 SMS per day and 1GB 3G/4G data. But Jio is still a favourite among many for its vast LTE coverage across the country, and yes, Airtel also has its strong footprint spread across the country. However after the revising (the first one) Airtel increased the data offering from 1GB to 1.5GB per day.

From an absolute value-for-money perspective, the cheapest plan from the operator is the Rs 498 pack which gives 1 GB per day for 84 days.
Bharti Airtel lately announced unlimited combo plans valid for time periods ranging from one month, three months, six months and a year to counter similar plans from Jio. As for now, it is offering around 5 open market tariff plans including - Rs 199, Rs 349, Rs 448, Rs 549, and Rs 799.
