3 kids from Iowa Amber Alert found safe

Sanborn is about 26 miles away from Royal and authorities say the girls were abandoned there by their biological mother.

The Amber Alert has been canceled.

The children had previously been removed from the care of 25-year-old Danica Arzaga and were in the custody of a relative at the time of their disappearance.

The Minnesota BCA announced just after 9 p.m. that the children were located safe in Iowa. She is believed to be driving a maroon, 2003 Cadillac CTS with Iowa license plate 561 XEY.

The Amber Alert issued Tuesday said the girls were abducted at 7:30 a.m.in Royal.

A mother, who allegedly abducted three of her children, was arrested on Wednesday in Sioux City, Iowa.

If you have any information on the suspect vehicle, or Danica Arzaga's whereabouts, contact local law enforcement.

The children were taken to an undisclosed location by the Iowa Department of Human Services.

The children are three white girls.

The 4-year-old is described as 3 feet tall, 40 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, possibly wearing a pink pajama sleeper and slippers, according to the alert issued by the State of Iowa.

Anyone who sees the children or the auto in question is encouraged to call 911 immediately.
